Nerd Rage Gaming Event Queue SMS program. Effective October 4, 2026.

This policy explains how Nerd Rage Gaming handles information for Event Queue text verification and ready-check alerts.

Information we collect

We collect your phone number, verification status, and your choices about text alerts.

We associate this information with your Event Queue account, including your name, email address, and selected convention.

We record the consent disclosure you accept, when you accept it, and later changes to your consent.

We also record verification requests, message delivery status, opt-out requests, and technical information used to prevent abuse.

We use your phone number to send verification codes you request and ready-check alerts you choose to receive.

We use consent and delivery records to manage alerts, honor opt-outs, investigate delivery failures, and prevent misuse.

Tournament staff can review queue activity and limited text delivery information to manage side-event queues.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with affiliates or third parties for promotional purposes.

We use service providers, including Twilio, to verify phone numbers and deliver texts on our behalf.

These providers receive the information needed to provide those services. This service-provider use does not authorize marketing to you.

Text alerts are optional. Verifying a phone number does not enable ready-check alerts.

You separately choose alerts for side-event queues at the selected convention.

Message frequency varies with queue activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. You can also disable alerts or remove your phone number in the app.

Disabling alerts cannot recall a text already in progress.

We retain records as needed to provide the service, manage consent, honor opt-outs, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations.

We can retain limited opt-out records after phone removal so we can honor your request.

We restrict access to personal information and use technical safeguards. No storage or transmission system can guarantee complete security.
